Where is Assembly Row?

Where should I park?  How much does it cost?

MGB will be covering the cost of parking at Assembly Row on May 15th.  Please enter the garage at the North or West entrance as shown in the image below (click to enlarge).

Can I take the MBTA to Assembly Row?

Yes, the campus is convenient to the Orange Line, via the Assembly Station. Direct bus routes to Assembly Row: from Downtown Boston (Route 92) and Davis Square (Route 90). Routes to Sullivan Square from Davis Square (Route 89), Central Square (Route 91) and Medford (Route 101 + 95).

Where is the Markell Conference Center?

Please enter the MGB building using the West Lobby entrance.  Upon arrival, please stay to your left and visit the registration table for your name tag. There is no need to visit the security desk.

Is there WiFI?

Yes. When at Assembly Row, it is recommended that you connect to the wireless network phswifi3 using your MGB network credentials. You can also access the MGB Guest Network, which is: MGBGuest (this network does not require a password) 

I need to utilize a Mother’s Room. Are there any available?

Should you require a privacy room during the 2025 Development Summit, please send a request to Sunny at [email protected].

I have an accommodation request about my seating during the general sessions. Who can help me?

To request an accommodation, please include it during registration.  Or if you have additional inquiries about accessibility at Assembly Row, please contact Sarah Christopher at [email protected].

Is there a dress code?

Casual business attire is the suggested dress for day. Take a peek at the photos from last year to get a sense for the day.

Is the networking lunch sign up mandatory?

No.  In response to feedback looking for more networking with peers across the system and a focused lunch dialogue, we are offering breakout rooms based on function. You can select a lunch session during registration.  If you do not want to participate, the general lunch option will remain the same; you can collect your lunch and enjoy it upstairs, outside, or in the conference center.

I signed up for a networking lunch.  Where do I go?

Thanks for your interest in our new lunch option.  You will receive more details about your lunch location once registration closes and we have our final numbers.  Room locations will be shared closer to May 15th

Is food provided during the day?

Yes, we offer a light continental breakfast, quick snack breaks, lunch, and a reception.  See the Agenda page for detailed timing. We ask that you include any dietary restrictions or allergies during registration.

I have a food allergy.  Who should I tell?

During registration, please include any dietary allergies or restrictions.  If you forgot, please send an email to [email protected].

What are the themes of the plenaries?

Each year we try and offer a variety of topics that appeal to our large audience of development professionals.  We engage internal MGB leadership, a national expert speaker, and utilize the amazing development stories and programs we have right here within our system.  Please visit the Plenary content page for more details about this year’s plenaries. 

I have a question for one of the Plenary speakers, but I do not want to stand up and ask it myself on May 15th. Can I submit a question in advance?

Yes.  Please visit the Plenary Q&A page and submit your questions. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please include that in the form.

Registration

Is this a remote or in-person event?

This is an in-person event. Attendance is encouraged. If you are a remote employee, please seek guidance from your manager regarding your participation at the Development Summit.

I cannot attend.  Do I need to RSVP?

Yes, please click on the RSVP form and select No regarding your May 15th attendance.  This is important for our planning. Thank you.

Who is in the audience at the Development Summit?

Development Summit attendees include all development staff from all MGB entities.  We now total 500+. Please visit the registered attendees page to see who is confirmed.

I have to leave early.  Are the sessions recorded?

Yes.  We record the Plenary sessions and will post them to the event website later in May.

 I forget if I registered for a networking lunch.  How can I find out?

Thanks for your interest in the networking lunches.  After you registered, you should have received a confirmation email.  It was sent by “MGB Development Office.” The confirmation email includes your responses including whether you selected a lunch.  We will also be in touch with all lunch attendees prior to May 15th.
